Kid President's 20 Things We Should Say More Often

Kindness Through Their Eyes

Welcome to Washington Elementary School! Washington is a kindergarten through sixth grade building which also serves HeadStart students. We offer special services for Deaf and Hard of Hearing students, including three hearing impaired classrooms and the support of sign language interpreters.

The staff of Washington works to see that all students are successful in reaching high academic goals. Our EXCELS Plan, which outlines our goals for the year, focuses on students developing strong writing skills and improving mastery of problem solving skills. Our social goal is to show respect for others.

Washington School benefits from having a strong PTO. The officers are parents who donate a great deal of their time, and they help organize resources and raise funds to benefit all of our students. We are fortunate that so many parents become members of our PTO.

Please feel free to visit our school, and know that you are always welcome at Washington.
