about me

Welcome to Mrs. Vazzano's Kindergarten!

My name is Stacie Vazzano.  This is my 11th year teaching at Washington.  My first six years were spent in first grade and this is my fifth year in Kindergarten.  I am extremely excited about this school year.  It is going to be a fun year full of learning and new adventures.

I have a bachelors degree in both Psychology and Elementary Education and an endorsement in Early Childhood Education.  I have two intelligent, talented, and extremely sarcastic children, Sam and Sophia. Sophia is 19 and is a sophomore at the University of Kansas.  She is studying Speech/Language Pathology and an active member of her sorority, Kappa Delta.   Sam is 20 and is busy this year as an independent choreographer for various middle school and high school show choirs across the country.   My husband (who is a Washington alum) and I have been married for 21 years!  We have a two year old Boston Terrier named Fenway who is very silly and makes me laugh every day.

Please contact me throughout the year if you have any questions or concerns.  My email address is:  stacie.vazzano@ops.org.

Looking forward to a fantastic school year!  Go Wildcats!
